Cheonan(Gwangdeok) Mountain, one of the 100 most famous mountains in the country, is situated on the boundary between Gwangdeok-ri, Gwangdeok-myeon, Dongnam-gu in Cheonan and Gangdang-ri, Songsan-myeon in Asan. The mountains and their ridges join together to form a large mountainous area. It joins Mangyeong Mountain on its northeast side, allowing hikers to climb both mountains.

At the peak of the mountain, one can enjoy the panoramic view of Cheonan and Asan, and on clear days, Oseo Mountain in Gwancheon, Hongseong and Gaya Mountain in Seosan can be seen from west and north, respectively.
